My hair is long enough to donate again. I am gona cut it short. What should I do guys, pixie cut? mohawk? When going short I have always gone with the T-Boz look
I want something new and different!
  
I know some of these pics are guys, but this is closest to the length and style that I would get a mohawk

6. You will receive notification that we have received your hair within 6 weeks or less. Please be sure to print the information on the form below to send along with your hair donation. If we cannot read the information you may not get acknowledgement.
7. Hair donations are not tax deductible
9. Wigs for Kids appreciates a monetary donation with each ponytail to help offset the costs involved in processing and production of hairpieces. The cost of one hair piece can range from $1,500 - $3,000 . It takes 20-30 ponytails to create one hairpiece.
Wigs for Kids is a private non-profit organization relying solely on donations. Through caring companies, foundations, groups and individuals, like you, we can continue to provide COMPLIMENTARY hair replacement systems our children who would otherwise not be able to afford them.

To ensure a perfect fit, a plaster of Paris mold is made of the child's head. The "Spec Design" is specially coordinated to conform to the measurements of the cast that comes out of the mold. The measurements are precise so the foundation of the hairpiece will fit the child's head just right.
Step Six:
Once the mold is set, a liquid form is poured into the mold and allowed to dry. When the form and the mold are separated from one another, a cap that fits the size of the resulting cast is made. This cap serves as the foundation of the hairpiece. Because the child who wears the hairpiece will likely swim, shower, and sleep with it on, the design of this foundation is carefully considered and the materials from which it is made are carefully selected.
Step Seven:
Now the hair is ready to be implanted into the cap, or "ventilated." Each strand of hair is hand-tied. This delicate procedure requires 60 to 85 manpower hours. The hair is now custom designed per the child's request. At this point, the direction of the hair, and whether the hairs lie forward or part to the left or right, is determined.
Step Eight:
Finally, the hairpiece is ready for its proud new owner. The child receives the hairpiece along with special coaching on how to look and feel her best. The hair is cut and styled to the child's liking by a certified cosmetic therapist and his or her new life begins. |

that's really cool! I have done it twice already and my hair is long enough to do it again if I cut it REALLY short. What do u think, should I get brave and go for a mohawk? I am about to be self-employed in a very openminded neighborhood, so either I feel it will be a great thing or a fiasco!

oh man! i would love to do that, but i'm too scared..
my hair is down to my butt, and i've thought about cutting it short.
i usually get a 2 inch trim once a year.
i dont think i can do more than that..
u guys are great for that though!
